At the end of our stay in Vasto we chose this bistro for dinner. Very characteristic location being inside the Castle. Local in a mix of ancient having walls and ceiling with exposed bricks of the Castle and modern furnishings, but well balanced. Excellent dinner with hamburger on the plate and traditional, chips and cheese and egg balls as a starter. Everything cooked very well and excellent flavors. The staff were very kind with the waiter who served us really nice in asking us several times if everything was ok. For an informal dinner, super local. I absolutely recommend.

What a beautiful place 😲😲😲😲!!! Vasto's historic center square, below the castle, outdoor tables, spectacular view, friendly, super helpful, and quick staff, excellent food with pinsa pucce and hamburgers revisited with an Abruzzo twist and beyond, a well-stocked wine cellar favoring regional wines, fair prices. Not to mention the well-kept exposed stone interior that stylishly blends ancient and modern. Well done 💪🏻

Dinner with friends downtown on a Saturday night. I ordered a gluten-free beer and a gluten-free pinsa with potatoes, mozzarella, and sausage, which was truly delicious. Recommended for those with gluten intolerances and celiac disease! The only downside was the service, but it was a Saturday night and everything was packed. That's understandable... we'll definitely be back!

I'd be tempted to curse if I didn't see the 5⭐️s from every reviewer here. Friendly and elegant staff, incredibly high-quality food, and a historic and romantic setting. The price is absolutely right for the quality of the menu, which is vast and varied. A wonderful surprise on my first stay in Vasto!

Last night we discovered a really beautiful little place in the heart of Vasto, with a super suggestive location right at the foot of the castle - romantic atmosphere, soft lights and that authentic touch that immediately conquers. 🏰 ✨ We started with a large fried cuoppo, perfect for sharing between 4: varied, crunchy, not greasy and very tasty. The ideal appetizer to break the hunger and start with a smile. 🍔 Then there was room for sandwiches with really quality meat and just the right cooking, balanced and tasty, with various traditional ingredients such as fresh ventricina, turnip tops, roasted scamorza... but the real star was the sheep burger served on a plate: tender, tasty but not at all heavy, accompanied by caprese, grilled vegetables and crispy chips. A dish that tastes of Abruzzo, but with style! 💸 Excellent value for money, young, friendly service and always with a nice word. 🔎 In summary: location 10, food 10, atmosphere 10. We will definitely be back!

I came yesterday to celebrate my birthday with my family, and I wanted to share the wonderful time I had! The service is really great; the waiters are all young but very attentive. My family and I tried everything on the menu (chips, pinsa, hamburgers, grilled meat, etc.) and everyone had a blast! On top of that, we were recommended a local red wine, which was excellent. So I wanted to thank the team and the restaurant for this great time. Especially since they're very business-oriented, I was able to bring my birthday cake from outside without any problems.

What a discovery! I didn't know the city of Vasto, but this restaurant is in the most beautiful square in town! It's just a crazy setting! I had a Pucce, a kind of panini with very, very light bread that's excellent because it's very well-filled and made with very high-quality products. My husband had a pinsa, better known to the general public but also excellent. For starters, we ordered a few small items to share, but I absolutely have to tell you about the fried chicken; it's so good! We enjoyed the dishes, and the young wait staff is excellent! Especially since the manager, Samuel, and a waiter (Dylan), speak French, so it's really good for making ourselves understood and getting information about the products. Thanks for the discovery; I'll definitely be back!

Beautiful place recently reopened under new management in the Vasto square. You can eat outside, but also indoors, under the Castle in a movie-worthy setting. Great food, ok service. Good guys.
